A lightweight crescent-shaped shawl knitted in simple lace with engaging stripes.

This is a lightweight crescent-shaped shawl with simple lace and engaging stripes.

By definition, we usually see rainbows in cloudy skies. A bright flash of colour amongst the grey clouds. Those rainbows bring a sense of hope for the passing of the rain and the blue sky which will follow. They are a display of Nature’s finest colours and colour makes me happy.

The easy-to-wear crescent shape allows the fabric to drape beautifully across the shoulders or wrap around your neck like a cosy hug. Knitted from the top down, this shawl works up quickly.

Originally knitted with one full skein of fingering weight yarn and three minis, this shawl could be knitted in as many or as few colours as you have to hand.
